long story short
Amy Creyer
I'm a multi-hyphenate creative with deep experience across advertising, photography, and the creator economy. My work has been covered extensively in the press and recognized at industry award shows.
My journey began on the streets of Chicago & New York
I cut my teeth as a freelance photographer capturing streetstyle in Chicago and at NYFW for my blog.
My work caught the eye of fashion editors around the world, who published my photos in British Vogue, W Magazine, and Harper's Bazaar.
I captured runway shows for rag & bone, Eckhaus Latta, and Creatures of the Wind; served as the official Pitchfork streetstyle correspondent on behalf of TeenVogue; and shot the Chicago edition of 'Art of the Trench' for the Burberry grand reopening on Michigan Avenue.
I became a proto-influencer
starring in branded content
As my profile rose and I earned recognition for my work, brand deals led to a successful career as an influencer in the early 2010s.

Not to dunk on Ilana Wexler's dreams, but my greatest achievement as an influencer was starring as a Maxxinista in a year-long social campaign for T.J. Maxx in 2013.

One day, I was going back and forth with a creative director on set about the script they wanted me to read. It didn't sound like me.

He told me if I wanted to write scripts I should get a job at an agency.
which led to a fulfilling career in advertising
My relentless focus on disruptive storytelling as a content creator led to a successful career as an award-winning copywriter and creative director at the industry's top shops.

I sparked a national friendship movement
I moved to Toronto right before the pandemic hit.

Stuck behind a closed border working remotely in Canada and isolated from my American friends and family back home, I created a friendship project to meet new people, and sparked a national conversation about human connection.
